The Oticon ConnectLine Phone adapter 2.0 is the second generation of ConnectLine phone interface. It is a Bluetooth interface between your conventional landline home phone and the Oticon Streamer 1.4, Ponto Streamer, Streamer Pro or ConnectClip which in effect turns a pair of hearing instruments into a wireless headset. It gives you outstanding sound quality, improved intelligibility and hands free phone use at home.
The Phone Adaptor 2.0 has an advanced noise cancellation system to help control background noise so the person at the other end of the line can clearly hear the voice of the person using the ConnectLine system.
Streamer Pro / ConnectClip purchased separately. For more
information, please see 'Associated Items' on right.
Seamless communication
The ConnectLine Phone Adaptor 2.0 connects your hearing aids via a Streamer Pro or ConnectClip to a standard landline phone present in most homes. The result is the ability to communicate with confidence and convenience. There is no need to buy and learn a new phone. Due to advanced noise reduction and echo cancellation systems, you will receive clear undistorted conversations
Ease of use
Plugging in between the main phone (or base station) and the phone wall outlet, the Phone adapter installation is remarkably simple.
Once the Phone Adapter and Streamer Pro or ConnectClip are
paired, the devices are automatically ready for use whenever they
are within 30 metres of each other. Incoming calls are notified in
the hearing instruments and accepted by pushing the Streamer Phone
button shortly. Outgoing calls are made by dialing on your phone as
normal. The call will transfer automatically to the hearing
instruments via Streamer Pro or ConnectClip.
Fashionable design
The Phone adapter not only looks good, it is also compact to
discreetly blend in next to phones or base stations.
Supplied with: ConnectLine Phone adaptor 2.0, UK mains power
supply, BT line cord 2m, BT socket doubler, RJ45 line cord.
Important Note: The Phone Adapter will not work
with office phone systems, it can only be used with a traditional,
domestic phone line.

Streamer compatible Oticon hearing instruments always have a program for Streamer phone applications. The dedicated streamer phone program is automatically activated by the hearing instrument as soon a phone conversation is started through the Streamer. During phone listening, the hearing instrument microphones are normally turned on (unless temporarily muted by the user). The sound level of the microphones (i.e. acoustic input from surroundings) can be muted by the user or can be attenuated relatively to the phone sound - please talk to your audiologist for more information about this.
