Roger radio aid system bundles for Home & Leisure
Phonak Roger is a digital wireless technology standard - a modern alternative to fm. The Roger digital radio system operates in the 2.4GHz band, which is globally licence free, with intelligent adaptive protocols. The Roger digital protocol has an end to end audio delay of less than 25ms. A nice Roger feature is that the system is private and cannot be eavesdropped.
Roger On Transmitter
The Roger On offers a choice of microphone pick-up characteristics which can be controlled using the APP
There are five main ways of using your Roger On 3
On a table: Place Roger On in the centre of the table and hear the people sitting around it.
Pointing: Hold Roger On in the direction of the person you want to hear.
Presenter: Clip or hang Roger On near the mouth of a distant talker and hear them better.
TV/Multimedia: Stream the sound from your TV or another audio source directly into your ears.
Headset mode: Connect to your computer with a USB lead to make Teams, Zoom, Skype, WhatsApp, gaming or software-based telephone calls.
Up to 10 Roger Ons can be used in a network for group use.
Roger Select Transmitter
Roger Select is a versatile microphone ideal for stationary situations where background noise is present. It is particularly effective for small group situations, such as at a restaurant or around the dinner table at home. When placed on a table, it discreetly and automatically selects the person who is talking and seamlessly switches from one talker to another. When multiple conversations take place, the listener can manually select whom to listen to. It can also transmit the sound of multimedia devices e.g. T.V. and has wideband Bluetooth for phone calls.
Interested in speech to text?
Adding a Roger NeckLoop receiver and plugging it into the USB port on a computer provides an excellent sound input for speech to text apps. It can also be used for good quality sound input for dictating into Word, Outlook or similar. Just search 3PRNL2
